The complete works of
Louis Cahuzac
Philippe Cuper - Clarinet
An important new recording of the complete works of Louis Cahuzac played by Philippe Cuper, who has direct professorial lineage from Louis Cahuzac. One of the great clarinet players of the 20th Century, Cahuzac was also prolific as a recording artist. His work as a composer is less widely known, so it is with particular pride that Clarinet Classics presents the only current CD devoted to the music by Louis Cahuzac.

"My latest CD is Clarinet Chamber Music by Richard Rodney Bennett - A Birthday Tribute. Included on this CD is the World Premiere Recording of the Bass Clarinet Sonata. This CD was a complete joy to record and coincidently Richard's rich legacy of compositions for clarinet, spanning over 30 years, almost exactly mirrors in length my own professional career! It is a great honour for me to commemorate Sir Richard Rodney Bennett's 75th birthday year, with the release of this CD.
Please do also visit the Saxophone Classics website where you will find information about two new release including "Run, Sing, Fly" CC4005 by Sarah Markham, Artistic Director of Saxophone Classics."
